UnCommon Farms, in partnership with UW–Madison Division of Extension, is hosting a full-day Specialty Grower Succession Workshop on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Cranberry Innovation Center in Black River Falls, Wisconsin.
This hands-on workshop is designed to help farm families create a clear, confident path for future generations. Attendees will gain actionable strategies to transform succession planning from overwhelming to organized, with a personalized approach tailored to their farming operation.

The event will be led by Mike Downey, Succession Planning Manager at UnCommon Farms, alongside Joy Kirkpatrick, Farm Succession Outreach Specialist, and Kelly Wilfert, Farm Law Outreach Specialist, with UW–Madison Division of Extension.
