The Farmers’ Legal Action Group (FLAG), an independent nonprofit law center, has created a collection of recordkeeping guides for small-scale fruit and vegetable growers. This “Recordkeeping Toolkit” includes easy-to-follow instructions and templates to help small-scale fruit and vegetable growers keep accurate farm records. Keeping accurate records is important for managing a farm business, especially if the business ever faces legal challenges. Not only that, recordkeeping is necessary if growers wish to apply for loans or other financial assistance from state and federal support programs.

These templates make it simple for growers to document all aspects of their operations, from production costs to sales data, and everything in between.
